Sandy Reid

(Fordoun Curling Club)

Farmer, lives in North East Scotland, 20 miles south of Aberdeen in Inverbervie. Widower with grown-up family of three.

Curled for about 40 years at various levels. Started curling in Aberdeen, and has played at Letham Grange for the last 15 years. One of the highlights of my curling acreer was being in the winning rink in 1997 at Highland International Curling Week - a competition in which many Canadian rinks have participated over the years

William Mitchell

(Kelso Curling Club)

Up till now a happily married Volvo owning retired butcher.  Bill and his wife May, have three grown up children and spend most of the winter months curling at Border Ice Rink, Kelso.  He is Chairman of the Rink and greatly enjoys being involved in the running of the facility.  His other interests include gentle hill-walking, gardening and playing at least three rounds of enthusiastic but unskilful golf each week.

Neil Calvert

(West Linton Curling Club)

Born 4^th July 1946. Originally from Hawick in the Scottish Borders and

Married to Doreen who is also from Hawick. We have lived in West Linton for past 12 years which is a village 20 miles South-west of Edinburgh.

Family – 1 son – David – age 22.

Employed by Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh and have 40 years service.

Curl with the West Linton Club, which was formed in 1841 – Past President.
