Past President and Match Secretary (20 years ) of Orwell Curling  Club, one of the 13 original clubs to form the RCCC. As a skip twice winner of the Perth Masters and Scottish semi-finalist.

  15 years a Director of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society.

  12 years a local Community Councillor

  Played 1st XV rugby for 12 years

  Very keen bridge player.

John Dykes

(West Linton Curling Club)

Born 1942.  Married to Kate for 35 years with two sons both involved in agriculture.

Farmer, rearing beef cattle, sheep and ponies 20 miles South West of Edinburgh.  Takes a keen interest in exhibiting at, judging and organising livestock shows and events.

Been curling for 40 years at club and province level and have been club and province president. Takes a keen interest in all activities in the local community and countryside.

Ian Wylie

(Glasgow XX Curling Club) 

Ian lives in Netherlee on the South Side of Glasgow. he is married to Tina and has two grown up children, a son Scott and a daughter Ann. he is a retired executive and worked in Saudi Arabia as general manager of a Building Materials Supply Company for 17 years.

He is a keen curler and is a Past President of Old Glenalmond Curling Club, as well as currently being match secretary. He is currently President of Glasgow XX Curling Club and is Treasurer of Glasgow Province. He enjoys the competitive edge as well as the fellowship which curling provides.

His other interests and hobbies include golf, bridge, wine tasting, playing with his 2 year old grandson and he is a keen collector of curling pins.

(Rothes Curling Club)

 I am a dairy farmer with five of a family, and live in Leslie in Fife.

 I have curled for Rothes Curling Club for nearly thirty years.  I play in as many competitions as possible and made the Scottish finals on one occasion.  I occasionally play golf… badly.
