Married to Gwen. We have two sons Mark who is 26 and plays Rugby for Kelso and Graeme who is 24 curls on the Scottish circuit.

I work as a Farmer/Contractor from my home at Hutton Mains, Berwick upon Tweed.

I have curled for approx 25 years and my home ice rink is the Borders Ice Rink in Kelso. I have curled on the Scottish curling circuit since 1980 and have qualified for the national finals on many occasions.

My only other hobbies in sport is by following the fortunes of the Berwick Bandits speedway team and I also support Glasgow Rangers F C and Liverpool F C in their respective Scottish and English Leagues.

Bill Linton

(Bank of Scotland [Fife] Curling Club)

Bill is a curler of 25 years experience.  He is a life member of Bank of Scotland (Fife) CC and a founder member of Boreland CC. Both clubs play in the West of Fife Province where Bill was President between 1997/99.  Top curling achievements include being a 3 times winner of the Bank of Scotland Annual Championship, winner of the Province League on 4 occasions and a double winner of the Province Knock-out.

Bill, age 53, has worked “man and boy” with Bank of Scotland and is Director of Phoneline, The Bank’s 24 hour Telephone Banking Service.  Bill lives in Dunfermline, the ancient Capital of Scotland, with his wife (curling widow) Linda, and their children David and Sally.

Former Mathematics teacher, now developing the role of Archivist at Stewart's-Melville College, and also employed to coach curling and cricket.

Other interests include golf (enthusiastic but erratic), music (just about all sorts), photography (but don't ask me to smile for the camera!) and reading

William McIntyre

(Millport Curling Club)

Born 18^th May 1933 at Figgitoch Farm, Millport, Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland, where I still live and work with my wife Cathie and son Alister.  I also have two daughters – Kim who is a cook and Sandra who works for a Scottish Bank.

I am a past President of Millport Curling Club of which I have been actively involved with since childhood.  I am proud to be a member of Millport Curling Club which records show was in existence in 1834.

My other hobbies, when time permits, include bee-keeping, gardening and breeding pure bred Simmental cattle.
